Deshabhimani is a Malayalam daily newspaper and it is the Kerala's oldest newspaper. It was started as a weekly in Kozhikode in September 6, 1942 and converted to a daily in 1946. Deshabhimani daily is owned by Communist Party of India, Kerala State Committee, based in Kochi, Kerala. It has nine editions named Kochi, Kozhikode, Kannur, Thiruvananthapuram, Trichur, Banglore, Kottayam, Malappuram, and Bahrin. Deshabhimani newspaper few supplements Deshabhimani Varanthappathippu, Aksharamuttam, Sthree and Kilivaathil.
